2.4.2. System of automatic ventilation, heating and air conditioning (HVAC)

General information

On considered cars the HVAC system with possibility of automatic control is established.

Air gets through a lattice of a fairing of a windscreen and gets to salon, passing through the filter and if the heater, through its radiator is included. Hold a lattice of a fairing of a windscreen pure from leaves and other garbage, and also periodically replace the salonny filter to achieve from system of ventilation of the maximum return.

Deflectors are intended for adjustment of the direction of air streams in salon (two lateral, two central lobbies and two central back). Between the central deflectors the regulator of the air temperature, arriving of them is in addition established. At the closed back deflectors air moves only via forward deflectors. At the closed forward deflectors air moves on having blown in a windscreen.

To/in works only at the working engine and at temperature of air 5 °C are higher. On some models

Independent system of ventilation

This system uses the HVAC system fan for ventilation of salon and decrease in temperature in salon when the car is parked. Management of independent system of ventilation is carried out by means of the multipurpose display (see. Section of the Device of ensuring comfort).

Avoid inclusion of independent system of ventilation twice while the car is parked that the storage battery was not discharged.

Switch of heating of back glass

The switch is equipped with the built-in light indicator of inclusion of heating. Include heating for condensate and hoarfrost removal from back glass. Heating is switched off automatically through certain time after its inclusion, however if desirable result will reach before this time, switch off heating manually. While the indicator in the switch burns, heating works with the maximum capacity, and after indicator switching off some time before automatic switching off of heating it works with the underestimated capacity.

To include heating of back glass follows at the working engine for the purpose of prevention of the category of the storage battery.

Optimum settings of system

It is recommended to use automatic control mode by HVAC system. For this purpose press the AUTO button (The General view of the control unit as HVAC system), choose the demanded temperature (22 °C are recommended) and direct an air stream from the central deflectors so that it blew sitting on seats, but did not get directly on them. Use of manual adjustments of HVAC system below is described.

For a choice of one of certain modes of supply of air (to the person, to feet or on having blown in glasses) press the corresponding switch (The General view of the control unit HVAC system). Thus the automatic mode is switched off.

For fast removal from glasses of hoarfrost and condensate press the switch обдува glasses (The General view of the control unit HVAC system).

For inclusion/switching off To/in press the corresponding switch (The General view of the control unit HVAC system). At working To/in air arriving in salon it is cooled and drained. It accelerates condensate removal from glasses at high humidity of air.

The moisture which is taken away from air at work To/in, is condensed and goes down from under the car, therefore pool existence under the car after its parking with included To/in – the normal phenomenon. For receiving the maximum return from To/in system at its use close windows and the top hatch.

For the maximum cooling of air submitted to salon press the corresponding switch (The General view of the control unit HVAC system) when the key in the lock of ignition is in situation, since «1». If to press this switch when the key is in situation "0", the mode of use of residual heat of the engine joins. This mode is available only at the switched-off heated-up engine when the storage battery has a sufficient charge, and the external temperature makes less than 15 °C.

By consecutive pressing of the switch of an automatic mode of air circulation it is possible to be switched between an automatic mode (the mode of circulation joins and switched off automatically, depending on quality of external air, the indicator on the left side of the switch thus burns), a forced ventilation mode (in salon external air, thus indicators constantly arrives do not burn) and a retsirkulyatsiya mode (external air in salon does not move, the indicator on the right side of the switch thus burns).

At a complete set by a multipurpose steering wheel to be switched between an automatic mode and a forced ventilation mode by means of the switch located on it.

The mode of circulation should be used when driving on dusty roads or in a dense stream not to allow hit in salon of the dust, unpleasant smells and the fulfilled gases. Besides, the mode of circulation allows to accelerate considerably decrease in temperature in salon when using К/В.

Do not include an air circulation mode for long time since thus air in salon of the car becomes stuffy, and at windows there is a condensate.

By means of switches of temperature and intensity of supply of air separately for the left and right parts of salon, in them it is possible to establish various temperature and intensity of supply of air. These parameters are displayed on the display (The General view of the control unit by HVAC system). By pressing the button of reduction of intensity of an air stream at its minimum value the fan, a heater and To/in are disconnected and the circulation mode gets out. For return to a normal mode of functioning of HVAC system press any button on the block of its management.

To/in system in a back part of salon

At the corresponding complete set in a back part of the central console the control unit is established by To/to system of a back part of salon.
