12.2.8. Removal and installation, dismantling and assembly of a rack of a suspension bracket

Removal and installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a support of the brake mechanism, without disconnecting a brake hose, and suspend it on a body (see. Head Brake system).
  1. Give a nut and выпрессуйте cross-section steering draft by means of a stripper No. 32 1 190.

At installation on a landing cone and in an opening there should not be greasing traces; use new самоконтрящуюся a nut.


  1. Disconnect a rack of the stabilizer of cross-section stability from a suspension bracket rack, keeping fixing knot from a provorachivaniye a wrench. Deduce a cable from a fastening arm to a rack to a suspension bracket.

At installation use new самоконтрящуюся a nut.


  1. Turn out a bolt, establish the adaptation No. 31 2 200 in a cut and turn on a corner 90 °. Leave the adaptation on a rotary fist before installation.

At installation the bolt should enter into an opening of a plate (1).

  1. Remove a cap of the top support of a rack of a suspension bracket. At the corresponding complete set separate the EDC system socket. Give the top nuts of fastening of a rack.
  1. Press on a rotary fist with the cross-section lever of a suspension bracket and an extension of the lever of a suspension bracket so that it was possible to take out a rack from a wheel arch. Disconnect a rack from a rotary fist.

Do not allow damage of a wheel arch, to remove a rack follows together.

Dismantling and assembly

It is not allowed to use pulse винтоверт for a szhimaniye and an adaptation No. 31 3 341 razzhimaniye, and also for a reversing of bolts of fastening of the top support of a rack to a rod of the cylinder of a rack!

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Clamp the adaptation No. 31 3 141 plug (1) in a vice. Lock pins (2) should be fixed with heard click and with feeling of the moment of fixing. Once again check fastening of adaptations (horns) No. 31 352.

To check operability of adaptations follows before each their use. Do not use the damaged adaptations and do not change their design. Use only suitable horns established from a facet of the adaptation No. 31 3 141.


  1. Establish a spring between horns so that its bottom end (1) was under a horn and was coaxial to its end (2), and between horns there were 3 rounds of a spring.

At compression rounds of a spring should enter into deepenings of horns completely. Compress a spring only before removal of effort from the top support of a rack of a suspension bracket (not to a prileganiye of rounds of a spring to each other).


  1. Keeping knot from a provorachivaniye a cap wrench, give a nut by means of the special adaptation No. 31 2 210 or a key on 24 mm.

To give a nut it is authorized only if both rounds of a spring completely are in deepenings of horns.

  1. Remove a suspension bracket rack.
  2. At installation of a new spring unclench the adaptation No. 31 3 341, remove an old spring and compress new according to the requirements described in paragraph 2.
  3. Check the goffered casing, a chipper and isolating laying of a spring and if necessary replace faulty details.
  4. Installation is made upside-down. The ends of a spring should coincide with step vyshtampovka of plates. Use new самоконтрящуюся a nut of fastening of a spring.

It is not allowed to unclench the adaptation to a contact of horns of the bottom plate of a spring and the top round of a spring or the top support of a rack. Otherwise adaptation or spring damage is possible. Unclench the adaptation only before removal of effort of compression from spring rounds.
